Policies

For all Ready To Ship items, please allow 2-3 days processing. And 3-5 days for delivery, depending on location. For all Made To Order and Commission items, please see listing details for creation time.

Domestic Shipping

Almost all orders are shipped with USPS, unless otherwise specified. There is the occasion when a large wall hanging will ship more efficiently with UPS. An email will be sent to you once a package has shipped with tracking information.

international shipping

To be honest, calculating shipping is the most daunting task of this small business because every item I create is unique in size + weight. So my website is currently set up to ship to the United States. If you are international and wanting to shop Threads With Purpose, THANK YOU! Please contact me directly, I am more than willing to calculate shipping + create a custom listing for your order.

LOST OR DAMAGED PACKAGES

In the case of a lost package, please contact your local post office for assistance. I am not responsible for lost or damaged packages after they have been shipped.

RETURNED PACKAGES

If a package is returned to us because the buyer provided the wrong address or has not claimed a package after the delivery attempt, a refund will not be issued. The buyer must repay the shipping costs before the item can be shipped again.

returns & exchanges

I loved making your fiber art and want you to love it too! Your satisfaction and experience is very important to me. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns so I can try to remedy the situation anyway I can. With the nature of handmade, variations may occur, so I take photos of every “Ready To Ship” item, so you can clearly see what you are ordering. Please read product descriptions and dimensions carefully before ordering. I am unable to offer refunds if you change your mind about an order. I typically do not accept returns for store credit, but if a situation warrants it, please contact me within 7 days of delivery to be eligible for store credit.

ITEMS INELIGIBLE FOR RETURN: Any made to order items, custom made items or sale items are not available for return.
CUSTOMER MUST COVER RETURN SHIPPING in original packaging, without damage of the item.

Commissions

Once details are finalized for custom commissions, 50% of the total is due as payment for the commitment of my time and is not refundable under any circumstances. I do my best to understand your wishes and communicate throughout the process. I kindly ask that you communicate your ideas or concerns before finalizing the design, or as soon as they arise so they can be addressed. If you are not pleased with the final result, only the second half of the payment will be eligible for a refund under the circumstances that we are not able to come to an agreement.

defective goods

I personally inspect all items before they ship, but sometimes things happen. In the unlikely event that you receive a defective or damaged product (with the exception of damages incurred during transit) a refund or exchange is possible. Please contact me within 2 days of receiving your purchase with images & a description of the damage. Before a refund or exchange is possible, the defective product must be returned in its original condition and packaging. Because each of my pieces are 100% handmade, there may be an additional wait time before receiving a replacement while repairs are being made.

Color variation will not be considered an acceptable description for a ‘defective or damaged’ refund or exchange. I take great care to accurately document & describe my work and color variations may occur because your monitor settings may differ from mine.
